Our school provides opportunities for students, staff and parents to know and celebrate their Catholic faith. This is done through the religious life of our school. Members of our community experience a rich liturgical and prayer life, celebration of the Sacraments, faith formation, social outreach activities, and opportunities to share faith with each other and with youth from other schools in the Archdiocese.

The faith formation of the students at Marist Catholic College Penshurst is at the heart of all that we do as together as we strive to make Jesus known and loved. Belonging to our Catholic Marist family is an important aspect of spiritual formation and students take part in significant liturgical celebrations, parish masses, morning prayer, rosary, reflection days and Year 12 Retreat.

Our students are encouraged to contribute to the broader Catholic Church through participation in youth events, with Sydney Catholic Schools and Marist Schools Australia like evangelisation days, Archbishop’s forums, Marist Superconnect gatherings and leadership retreats. These faith-filled experiences enable students to actively lead and participate in the liturgical life and mission of the Catholic Church.
