At Marist Catholic College Penshurst the current Year 12 Leadership team consists of 22 fine young women and men elected by their peers. Each leader has been appointed to a role that assists in the day to day running of the College. The College Captains and Vice Captains represent the College at special functions and work with the Ministry Leaders to assist the Religious Education Coordinator and ministry team to ensure the spiritual life of the College is nurtured. These leaders develop initiatives that bring awareness to the plight of those in less fortunate situations than ourselves and work to ensure that a quality learning environment at the College is maintained.
The House Captains manage events that enable the students to develop a sense of camaraderie within their House teams. They work with the staff in coordinating school and representative sport, College Swimming and Athletics Carnivals, social justice events and participation in whole school initiatives and activities.
