Congratulations to the Marist Catholic College Penshurst Class of 2024 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results!
Our school made a phenomenal leap of 48 positions into the top 100 of The Sydney Morning Herald rankings, securing 97th place in the state.
We recorded a monumental 131 Distinguished Achievers.
The Class of 2024 excelled across the board, particularly in Extension Courses, where every student earned an E3 or E4 result.
Impressively, in eight courses, all students achieved marks above 80%. Additionally, 31 out of 33 courses surpassed the State Mean, with five of those courses achieving results more than 10% above the State Mean.
Marist Catholic College Penshurst Principal Connie Frino congratulated Year 12 on their fantastic efforts and achievements.

SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEM
Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) has achieved outstanding results in the 2024 HSC with 13 of its 33 secondary schools ranked among the top 150 high schools in NSW.
SCS recorded an impressive 2819 Distinguished Achievers, 42 Top Achievers and 45 All Rounders.
Notably, eight SCS students received HSC First in Course honours.
SCS students also completed 1,921 VET courses, and earned 280 HSC Showcase Nominations across the Creative and Performing Arts, and Technology and Applied Studies.
